Ready to begin composting
The Viet Nam Waste Solutions Co (VWS) has imported a composting machine for its Da Phuoc waste treatment plant in HCM City's Binh Chanh District.The US$7 million system can sort and treat 25 tonnes of solid waste per hour, and is expected to begin producing compost within two months. Da Phuoc, which has a capacity to treat 3,000 tonnes of waste daily, is considered the largest and most modern treatment plant in Viet Nam.
