Nghe An ranked first in labourers overseas

NGHE AN — Nghe An Provice ranked first out of 63 provinces and cities throughout the country in the number of labourers working overseas last year, according to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

The number was reported at 10,000, followed by Bac Giang Province with 4,500, Thai Binh Province with 2,200 and Thai Nguyen Province 1,000 labourers.

Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta provinces also experienced an increase in the number of labourers working overseas compared with 2010. .— VNS
